As the Design Director at Double Stitch, I lead the creation of premium bedding tailored for Older Gen Z and Young Millennials by leveraging consumer insight research and emerging design trends. We focused on creating bedding essentials that are soft, strong, and sustainable with personality.
I directed the fabric development process, curating unique cotton, linen, and Tencel blends with the finest finishing treatments to deliver unparalleled softness. We focus on soft single-pick sateen weaves; our core fibers are our award-winning Cotton Tencel Blend and Organic Cotton.
Inspired by updated California Casual aesthetics, the heart of our brand identity lies in the combination of solid-non-solid textured patterns, double stitching on the edges, and playful pops of color and pattern.
The collection, which includes all top-of-bed items such as duvet/pillow inserts, sheets, duvet covers, throws, and decorative pillows, is just the beginning. In 2024-25, we plan to expand further into Bath and other decorative categories, offering even more ways to bring our unique style into your home.
